The Robson Ranch Library is located on the east end of the Creative Arts & Technology Center (CATC). It is free and open to all residents. You can join the Library any day during business hours.
The library holds fiction and non-fiction books (including large-print books), a paperback book exchange, DVDs, audio CDs, jigsaw puzzles, and several online newspapers. There is also a periodicals section containing donated magazines and newspapers.
You can check if we have a hardback book, audio book (CD) movie (DVD) or jigsaw puzzle by visiting https://opac.libraryworld.com and entering Robson Ranch Library when asked; no password is needed. The box at left of the page scrolls down to let you check books by a specific author or books by title.
The room has free WiFi, several computers, a scanner, and a printer for residents' use, and a comfortable reading area.
If you are interested in volunteering, come in and complete a Volunteer Application.
It is our wish to help all Robson residents enjoy the materials that are available in our beautiful library!
Hours
The Robson Ranch Library
is open seven days a week during the following hours: Mondays-Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Robson Ranch Library is overseen by a volunteer Library Subcommittee of the HOA and staffed by volunteer residents. Books in the paperback section are not accessioned and do not need to be checked out. All other materials, however, must be. If no one is at the desk, you will find a checkout sheet on the counter. Just list your name, library number (if you remember it), title of the work and its accession number. This number is on the cover of videos, CDs and puzzles, and on the first page of hardback and large-print books. Materials for return should be given to the volunteer at the desk or, if no one is there, dropped through the marked slot in the side of the desk near the entryway. Donations:
All books, DVDs, CDs and puzzles are donations from residents or purchased with funds from Friends of the Library. Please note: Because of limited space, the library has a10 item donation limit and accepts only hardback fiction published within the last three years and nonfiction books published within the last five years. (There is no restriction on publication date of paperback fiction.) All donated items become the property of the library and will not be returned. All donations are evaluated for:
